Champlain Country Club’s annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 3PM in the club house. Prior to the meeting, we will send the agenda, 2019 financials, 2018 minutes, greens report, and bios for candidates running for the board. We take great care to prepare this information to help keep you informed.
This year, we will vote for three board members because terms are up for Bernie Gage, Aaron Reynolds, and me. At this time, we are looking for members that might be interested in joining the board; it is a three-year commitment.
The board meets monthly, and board members are encouraged to be on at least one of several committees that also meet monthly during the golf season. In this role, board members are responsible for helping to make decisions that keep the club running on a day-to-day basis. If you are interested in a position on the board, please submit your name and a short bio (golf@champlaincountryclub.com) by April 8, 2020.
The annual meeting is a good time to express your thoughts about the course. Your praise or constructive feedback, improvement suggestions or comments are all welcome. Light appetizers will be served. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for the meeting on May 3rd.
