Vermont’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order has been extended to May 15th, but we are hoping that the State might allow the opening of golf courses earlier. While the course is closed, we have continued maintaining it. It is in great shape, and ready for play on the day we get the go-ahead. Below are some exciting developments:
- The board has been in continuous discussions on how COVID-19 will impact our membership, greens fees, and tournaments. Recognizing that we are in unprecedented times, we are offering a three installment payment plan for 2020 memberships with the first installment due on May 15th (or the first day you play, whichever comes first). We encourage those that can pay the full amount upfront to do so, but we welcome those members who prefer the installment plan as well. Download the membership form or call the Pro Shop for more details.
- We are also offering a new member referral reward of $100, which will be split between the new and referring member. The $50 will be discounted from each membership fee, and new members are defined as players joining who have not had a membership in the last two seasons.
- This spring, you will notice some changes when you enter the Pro Shop. After 28 years, CCC’s Pro Shop Manager, Sally Barber, has chosen to retire. We are grateful for her support over the years and wish her great fun in her future endeavors. We are excited to announce that CCC’s Golf Pro, Mike Swim, will assume the role of Pro Shop Manager in addition to his existing responsibilities.
Please join us in wishing Sally and Mike well-earned congratulations! Stay tuned. We will continue to share information about an opening date and any other changes you can expect in the near future.
