The 2021 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 23rd at 6:00 pm at the clubhouse. This is an opportunity for members to learn about club financials and future plans, speak to the board and other members, as well as vote for open seats on the board of directors. This is also an ideal time to meet candidates running for the board.
This year, there are two positions up for election on the seven-member board.
- Keri Lawson’s seat on the board is up for election, and she is seeking re-election.
- Patty Geraghty’s seat on the board is also open. Patty has opted to step down due to her work schedule, but we are very grateful for her hard work and dedication on the board over the years.
Among other things, board members are expected to attend monthly meetings and chair a committee, which usually meets monthly as well. Members who are interested in running for either board seat can submit their name and a short bio to the board by sending an email to golf@champlaincountryclub.com. Bios must be submitted by May 1st to be included on the ballot. Proxys will be mailed on May 5th and can be returned to the Pro Shop prior to the annual meeting; however, in-person voting at the meeting will also be held. We hope to see you there!
